Masonry Instructor Portal

Through the Masonry Contractors Association of America (MCAA) and the National Masonry Instructor Association (NMIA) Texas Vocational Instructors can access a wealth of material and resources to begin basic masonry instruction. Get involved in our Masonry Rocks High School Career Program for full access. The Texas Masonry Council will pay the membership costs for any Texas instructor that wants to include masonry instruction as part of a construction class or a stand alone masonry class.

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is the national trade association representing mason contractors. The National Masonry Instructors Association’s mission is to develop collaborative partnership with the education community, business and industry to created awareness of the professionalism of the masonry occupation by promoting quality

NCCER develops standardized construction and maintenance curriculum and assessments with portable credentials. These credentials are tracked through NCCER’s Registry System that allows organizations and companies to track the qualifications of their craft professionals and/or check the qualifications of possible new hires.

Texas Industrial Vocational Association (TIVA) is the professional organization for Career and Technical Educators certified in  Trade & Industrial Education. TIVA participates in activities that assist in the professional growth of our students. Teachers are kept abreast of activities that affect their lives through regular email updates, newsletters and postings at www.tiva.org.
