Meet The Executive Director:
Tony joined the Texas Masonry Council in May 2014 bringing with him over 7 years of experience working in and with local governments in the greater Houston area. Before joining the TMC staff, Tony served as Chief of Staff for Houston City Council Member Al Hoang where he was Senior Advisor and managed the council member’s agenda.
Tony earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Texas A&M University. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife Kerri, and their three daughters Olivia, Evelyn, and Sophia.
Cori has a unique background in agriculture and marketing communications; prior to joining TMC, Cori has worked as a Client Success Manager for a marketing firm focused on promoting businesses within the trades, and served as a Recruitment Coordinator for Auburn University’s College of Agriculture.
Cori earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education – Agriculture Communications option from California State University, Fresno and a Master’s Degree in Agriculture Communications from Texas Tech University. Cori can often be found outdoors and exploring; from new restaurant patios, to lakes and beaches, to different countries, she is always ready for new experiences.
Ashton has an impressive background in masonry, competing in many local and state competitions in North Carolina. In 2018, Ashton won her first SkillsUSA state title, earning a bid to nationals, where she later brought home Gold! In 2019 she became the first back-to-back female Skil
Ashton graduated from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. Since then, she has worked SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 events as a content creator and social media specialist. Online she is known as “That Masonry Girl” where she shares her experience in the industry, promotes competitions, and encourages the younger generation to choose masonry! When she’s not working, Ashton enjoys being in the outdoors, going new places, learning line dances and spending time with her friends.
